Quick Question for Readers

Happy Sunday night. It’s been a long weekend preparing a cabin for short term rental, but I have a very quick question for everyone.

As you know, I went on a fairly deep dive earlier this year into blockchain and its impact on real estate. I rather enjoyed it, and I think the people I interviewed kind of enjoyed it, and I’ve been investigating that whole topic all year long.

I am now convinced that in some way, shape or form, crypto and blockchain and all that this new technology brings will profoundly change housing and real estate… because it will profoundly change the world. But no one knows yet exactly how that will happen. I certainly don’t, though I have my ideas.

I’m going to keep at it, and I’d like to share the journey with everyone, but… I’m not sure that Notorious ROB is the right place to do it. I discuss industry issues here, and while blockchain and real estate is an industry issue, it’s a bit too sci-fi even for me. Plus, it’s not a topic that is of interest to many people.

So, I’m kind of three minds about how to do this.

1. Setup another website for all of the futuristic blockchain and real estate stuff.
2. Setup a subsection of Notorious for all of the futuristic blockchain and real estate stuff, that doesn’t hit the normal front page and doesn’t go out to NROB email subscribers. Those who are interested can subscribe for email notifications (so it’ll kind of be like an email newsletter).
3. Just include it into the regular flow of NROB and NotoriousVIP, and those who are bored with it will just skip it.

I’m kind of leaning towards #2, but what do you think?
